Over the course of 2020, the digital health sector, like many sectors across the Commonwealth, experienced a drastic decline in job listings according to the Massachusetts Digital Health Jobs Board – a free resource which automatically aggregates and posts open Massachusetts Digital Health jobs. Our board opened 2020 with nearly 2,000 open roles but declined to just 900 in June. Since that time, we have seen a steady rebound in job openings in the sector and the Board featured over 1,500 jobs at the beginning of the year, a sign of a positive trend.
As we look towards 2021 and beyond it is clear that:
- Digital Health continues its grow here in the U.S.;
- Digital Health technologies are poised to play an essential role over the coming years; and
- Massachusetts and the Boston Digital Health hub were global leaders during a tumultuous 2020 and remain on track to continue that leadership into 2021.
Whether you are a job seeker looking for open roles, a career counselor looking to help those you serve, or a hiring manager looking to expand the reach of your listings, we welcome you to Massachusetts Digital Health Jobs Board.
